Our friends over at Hollon have designed the Crescent Shield Gun Safe CS-24 to fit this exact need. With 12 gauge steel in the door and body, 1-1/4" solid steel active locking bolts and drill/ballistic resistant hard plate, the CS-24 safe is built tough for the price. The Crescent Shield CS-24 features a 75 minute fire rating with an intumescent door seal that swells to seal the door when exposed to fire and heat and will outlast the standard house fire. The Crescent Shield CS-24 gun safe features a deluxe interior with a pocket door organizer, deluxe interior with charcoal grey liner, extra space for extra long rifles, adjustable and removable interior shelves and gun racks and 4 pre-drilled mounting holes. The Crescent Shield's 1.5" chrome steel bolts are 25% thicker than the industry standard and cover all four sides — top, bottom, hinge side, and opening side. Vault-style hinges prevent door sag and allow a full 180° opening radius, while drill and ballistic-resistant hard plate protects the lock pack.

Lock Technology
Upgraded S&G Type 1 Electronic Lock
The Crescent Shield comes standard with the Sargent & Greenleaf UL Listed Type 1 electronic lock — a higher security rating than the Group 2 dial locks found on most competing safes. The lock pack is protected by drill and ballistic-resistant hard plate that must be melted to penetrate.
